Typhoon Mina
The recent typhoon Mina—international name Nanmado—that hit Northern Luzon with storm signal number 4, the highest storm warning level in the country, was felt in our locality with great fear. It has billowing winds and accompanying thunderstorm. It rained so hard that it created a sort of waterfalls-like in our place. You can see on the picture how much water came flashing in towards our house. It started on the afternoon of 28 August and ended just yesterday. I should be happier if none were lost in the outbreak of typhoon. Yet, many properties were damaged including the lost of lives. My deepest prayers...
