Our world now is full of technologies we could not barely even grasp in terms of coping up with the speed of commercial releases. One example is that you may be eyeing to purchase your dream laptop today but upon arriving at the computer shop, you will be surprise to learn that a newer model is already on display. Better yet, you saved your projects typed using MS Office 2007 and upon taking at the shop for printing, it can not be processed because they are using a higher version of the software. Such dilemmas often occur and I have experienced similar problems several times when using the internet.
Well, we actually learn from our experiences and the information age is a sure fast way of learning. Through ICT or Information Communication Technology, I have discovered a lot and one of these is the proper use of the internet. Surfing has suddenly became a part of my everyday life especially in conducting research and availing immediate references for my projects. I have also learned the infinite possibilities of gaining the right information at the right time. It’s actually a real-time basis without the added hassles. One of the things I also like in ICT lessons is the introduction on how to create a blog. Blogging is new to me but I have just taken to like it because it is a fun way of sharing your ideas and weighing them with friends.
There are only several problems that I have encountered in blogging and one of this is the creation of a blog site with a yahoo mail address. It really gave me a headache because I can’t access my previous account now, although I was able to duplicate its pages. The thing that challenged me the most is on how to create a blog that could get other bloggers attention and make a healthy space of discussion over the net. Perhaps some topic that could also touch national interest or on how improve our environment. I was hoping that blog sites could push on creating an environment that is socially friendly and touches more concern on greening the earth. This is a great challenge to me and all bloggers to use the internet in encouraging others to share their ideas on how to go green.
ICT is really helpful and a cool subject. I love this subject and hoping to learn more on how to maximize the use of the net in interconnecting one global concern and that is using the power of our technology in saving mother earth by the push of a finger – just don’t push that touch screen so hard.
